George R. & Sharon Markey
George Robert is the eldest son of Pastor Markey. Originally from Crawfordsville, IN, USA, he has been serving in Ukraine with his family since 1992. He and Sharon were married in December 2002, at which point Sharon moved to Kiev. She is originally from Costa Mesa, CA, USA.

As an assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel Kiev, George helps his father in ministry and in encouraging national leadership. He also organizes weekly outreaches, plays on the worship team, and teaches a married couples' Bible study. Sharon is learning Ukrainian and Russian. She is a part of the worship team and helps out with the church's ministry to elderly women. She also works as the English editor for the in-flight magazine of Ukraine International Airlines.
