Benjamin
& Lena Morrison
Benjamin
was called to the Ukraine during his last sememster of Bible college,
and moved over after graduating in January of 2002 to work with
Calvary Chapel of Dnepropetrovsk as the college/youth leader.
Jesus brought Benjamin and Lena together as husband and wife in
September of 2003, and began giving them the vision to go out to
plant a work in a city without a solid, Biblical, grace-teaching
church. Lena became one of the leaders of the children's minstry
at CC Dnepropetrovsk in that time.
Benjamin and Lena are headed out to Svitlovodsk now, as the Lord
has called them to this town of 50,000 that has no healthy, grace-teaching
church yet. Their heart in going out is first personally to love,
enjoy, and experience the wonder of knowing Jesus in the fullest
way possible. Their vision for the Ukrainians there is to see them
know Jesus intimately, hope only on His cross, and delight deeply
in His ever-sufficient grace. Ben and Lena's desire is to see Ukrainians
fall in love with Jesus daily, coming unhesitatingly to their Papa,
even after an unfortunate roll in the mud with the swine, because
they are confident that He will meet them with robes and kisses.
They desire to see brothers and sisters sharing their hearts in
sincerity and vulnerability in the Christian community and so find
healing. The vision is simply: Jesus.
